This blog is dedicated to exposing religious intolerance/bigotry and is the evidence of harm done by religion on daily basis.

While we don't completely agree with everything Pamela Geller says or do,we consider her to be a responsible woman who knows what she is doing and if that's the way she wants to go around, then American Constitution gives her the freedom to do so. Her anti-Muslim ads got her a notorious name in the Muslim circle. While we consider religion a dangerous man-made tool,we also think that waging a war on a particular religious community is wrong and such hate speech should not be a part of our society. Don't mistake us,Geller's criticism of Islam is very valid but representing Muslims by a picture of Osama Bin Laden standing beside a crashing Trade Center is pretty damn offensive to Muslims. That's like representing all atheists with a hideous picture of Stalin, or representing all Jews with a picture of Mickey Cohen.
Anyway,Geller and her American Freedom Defense Initiative team is trying to put up new anti-Muslim ads in Detroit, which is home to many Muslims.
And Geller designed her new ad after the ad previously run by Detroit Coalition Of Reason.
This is a clever move by Geller who has seen her ads getting vanadalized and she was also slammed by Muslim and Jewish groups for her anti-Muslim bigotry. Basically what Geller is telling the Detroit Transit System is that "Hey,you accepted atheists' ad,so you have to accept ours too!"
It can be argued that the atheist ad was NOT against any particular religious community or a religious figure while Geller's ad is specifically anti-Muhammad and anti-Muslim.
Well,it didn't work out very well for Pamela Geller because Detroit Transit System gave one look to her ad,scoffed and called BS. They rejected it.
While talking to The Blaze Pamela Geller said, "Our ad, same ad, with one word flipped, was rejected”.
CBS Outdoors is the company that rejected the ad and a spokesperson explained the company’s reasoning:
“The proposed advertisement submitted by Pamela Geller has been reviewed under [Detroit bus system] SMART’s content policy. SMART, consistent with its review process, also reviewed the referred-to website: thetruthaboutmuhammed.com,” read [Howard] Marcus’ e-mail. “Consistent with its policy, with the Sixth Circuit opinion in AFDI v SMART, and consistent with other law, SMART declines to post the advertisement.”
The website on Geller's ad is TheTruthAboutMuhammad.com, a web site that wages some potentially-offensive allegations against the religious figure.
Without the website mentioned on the ad,Pamela Geller might succeed in getting her ad published,as without the website it won't be offensive at all.
